Whether in his musical work on films, in his projects for young listeners:inside, or in his bands and ensembles, content motivation, concept, and intermedia interplay are funda- mental to Kacirek's work. The starting point for the search for extraordinary sounds, sound combinations and work- ing methods are both his constantly growing material collection of mechanical and elec- tronic sound generators and instruments, as well as the cooperation with virtuoso allies. The result is music that oscillates with great musical joy between reduced, grinding beauty and sonically somber condensation.
