Ich oder Krake are the cellist, multi-instrumentalist and singer Cordula Rohde and film music composer Nils Kacirek. Soundscapes created with the ludicrous collection of instruments from Kacirek’s studio Rumpelkeller, meet Rohdes’ cellistic Virtuosity. This opens up a sonority between squeak and baroque diversity. Supported by poetic vocal collages, tracks of grueling clarity and harrowing beauty emerge. Since 2015, the duo has been publishing their own compositions and commissioned works for film music on a regular basis. “Air Opaque” is the first pre-release single of the new album by Ich oder Krake, which will be released in 2022 on Bello Neon Records.
